Father's Day Card

Prior to when we went out to Colorado I had made my dad a Father's Day card and gift.  We celebrated with him while we were out there.  We even bought him a new lightweight bagless vacuum and made him a nice dinner one evening.  However I still have a couple of other special fathers in my wonderful father-in-law and my 2 sons are also fathers.  So I am still working on Father's Day gifts and cards.  Today I was inspired by the sketch over at CAS-ual Fridays for this card.  I really like the CAS style (clean and simple) and it worked perfectly for this card.  Don't you just LOVE this ribbon?  It is Stampin' Up's 1.25" grosgrain ribbon in Marina Mist paired with Baja Breeze cardstock.  I love this ribbon so much I will need to make sure that I save some to use on a project that I will be keeping for myself!

  1. Excellent! No doubt Dad will love this - it's just the right amount of masculine but elegant all at the same time! Thanks so much for playing with us at CAS-ual Fridays! Looking forward to seeing more of your beautiful work!

  2. Wonderful card! Love the patterns and colors-works perfectly as a father's day card :) Glad you had fun with us this week and hope to see you back next week for more fun at CAS-ual Fridays!

  3. Beautiful CAS card! Love the ribbon you used!! So glad that you join us at CAS-ual Fridays!
