Pretty Girls, Pretty Eggs

I was so happy when my son texted me this picture of my granddaughters coloring eggs the day before Easter . I did not think I was going to get any Easter pictures and I had this adorable new paper from Doodlebug that I wanted to use. I had this great sketch from Rochelle Spears to use:

On the Scrap With Stacy blog there was this Photo Inspiration Challenge:

I was inspired by the bunny, Easter eggs in a basket and the colors green, yellow, blue with just a touch of pink. I can enter this layout in both of the Scrappy Friends April Challenges:

Well that is it for now....hope your weekend was lovely. I got to spend time with a friend that I do not get to see very often so my weekend rocked!

Week 11

I am really enjoying my weekly documenting in my Traveler's Notebook, even if I am a few weeks behind. I especially love the monthly challenges that Lisa and Lori have on their blogs. I used this awesome sketch from Lisa:

Lori's challenge was to use at least two colors from this color board:

Those are currently all my favorite colors to papercraft with so I felt like I hit the jackpot. I used all of them!!

With this one project I was able to enter two challenges:

The sketch challenge at Lisa's blog My Creative Endeavors
The color challenge at Lori's blog My Happy Life

That's it for now. Thanks for checking in with me.

April Stick It Down Card Sketch

I did not get a chance to make too many East cards this year because of all the home renovations going on. Until a few days ago....all the "stuff" from my walk-in closet had been jammed into my scraproom. I found it difficult to be very creative in there with the clutter and disarray. But I found the above awesome sketch at Stick It Down and knew it would be perfect to create this card:

I am entering it in their sketch can see all the details HERE

Thanks for stopping by. I hope you have a very productive week.

Paper Smooches Sketch Challenge

When I was a teenager my favorite color was purple and while it is no longer my favorite color I still love it. So I had fun working with my purple watercolors this week and made this fun card for a good friend. I used Paper Smooches stamps and their sketch for April:

It has been WAY too long since I entered one of their monthly challenges but that is what I am doing with this card. If you want to enter, there is still plenty of time. You can check out all the details HERE

Thanks for stopping by my blog. Happy Hump Day!

Happy Easter

I absolutely loved coloring these Lawn Fawn little jelly beans on this simple Easter card for my granddaughter. I am entering this card in the LawnFawnatics Challenge #50 --Fun With Food

I am also entering this in the Sunday Stamps Weekly challenge....this week it is this awesome sketch:

The final challenge I am entering this card in is the current
Tuesday Throwdown Anything Goes Challenge.

I have to cut this short because we are headed out of town to celebrate my husband's birthday this weekend. Enjoy your weekend!!
