Happy Birthday Izzy

I am trying to fill in the gaps and complete a scrapbook for each of my granddaughters that I could send them at Christmas this year. This is Izzy's 8th birthday which was actually just about 6 weeks ago. I used this fun sketch from Sketch-N-Scrap:

Week 32

I really thought I would have more time to get caught up on my projects since I am retired but I have made some new friends, we have a new puppy and I am having a very good time. But little by little I should be able to catch up on my 52 Favorites. This is week 32 which was my birthday week. I used this sketch from Sketch-N-Scrap:

Week 30

I love adapting sketches to fit in my Traveler's Notebook. This sketch from Rochelle Spears worked perfectly to document week 30...the week I first attended my crafty ladies gathering since retiring.

Instead of 2 photos, I added a photo and a journaling box.but otherwise I stayed pretty true to the sketch. I also used the colors from the photo inspiration this month from Scrap With Stacy.

I am entering this page in both of these challenges:

Happy Anniversary Aaron and Cheri

I am enjoying building up my stash of cards and I know I have an anniversary coming up in November for my brother and sister-in-law. When I saw this sketch from Sketch-N-Scrap, I knew it would be perfect. The papers, banners and rose gold heart are all from PinkFresh Studios.

Well back to watching football and my hubby just dished me up a bowl of his delicious chili. I love fall....don't you?

Guest Designer at TN Time With Lisa and Lori

I am so excited today to be the guest designer for the TN Time With Lisa and Lori Challenge. I was given this awesome sketch form Lisa to work with:

Here is the spread I did with the sketch:

We are picking up our little French Bulldog puppy this weekend and these were a couple of pictures that the breeder sent me. We have not named her yet. We have a list of names but want to meet her first and then pick a name. Personally my favorites are Muffin, Pickles and Shortcake....maybe I am just hungry! lol

Lori's challenge was to PICK 3 items from the following list to include on my spread.

1) hearts 2) die cuts/ephemera 3) tag(s) 4) banner(s) 5) flower(s) 6) label(s) 7) polka dots 8) stamps 9) washi tape.  You can use other items as well but you must use at LEAST 3 items from this list.
I actually used 4 items:
1.) Hearts
2.) Banners
3.) Die cut (I actually made a die cute of a French Bulldog to add to my spread)
4.)Stamps

This is a really fun challenge and I encourage you to check out
and
Lori's Blog My Happy Life

There is lots of inspiration from these two talented ladies and if you link up an entry, you could win a prize. It is always fun to be able to enter two challenges with one project. Thank you very much ladies for having me be your guest this month.

That is it for now....Thank you for stopping by my blog.

Colorado Craft Company Birthday Card

I inked up another stamp for the first time today. I won this stamp over a year again and pulled it out today to use for a special birthday card for an adopted "aunt". I really love the font on the sentiment.

I used this sketch #522 from Mojo Monday. Julee Tilman has the most awesome sketches and she never fails to inspire me.

I am also entering this in the Simon Says Stamp Wednesday Stamp It Challenge.

That's it for now.....thanks for stopping in to my blog.

Boatloads of Christmas Cheer

I am buying mostly gift cards for Christmas this year. Shopping, buying, wrapping, packing and shipping multiple large boxes of gifts to my Midwest family from here in Florida is a huge job. It is expensive also so I am sending gift cards mostly this year. Therefore I am going to need a bunch of gift card holders. When I saw the Inky Paws sketch at Newton's Nook, it looked like the perfect gift card holder.

I used this sketch:
I also used one of my favorite Newton's Nook stamp sets -- SEAS-ons Greetings. I am entering this card at the Inky Paws Sketch Challenge #105
I am also entering this card in the Simon Says Stamp Wednesday Stamp It Challenge.

That is it for now....it is just about the weekend and I am really looking forward to this one. Last weekend was lost due to preparations for Hurricane Dorian.

Thanks for dropping in.

Time For A Cuppa

I love coffee and I love making cards so it is natural that I would love making coffee themed cards. For this one I used a bunch of layered small die cuts from my Cocoa Daisy September Traveler's Notebook kit. I added some white paint spatters and a very old postage stamp chipboard frame from my stash.

I used the September card sketch from Stick It Down:

That is about it for now. I hope to be back this afternoon with a Christmas card to share.

Happy Friday!

I am also entering this card in the Cupcake Inspiration Challenge #477 -- Food And Drink
