All the Way to Singapore

This card is all packaged up already to mailed off to an online coffee/hot cocoa loving friend in Singapore. The truth is I am never able to build up much of a stash of cards. I mail out ALL my cards usually right after I make them.

This card is made with all dies from My Favorite Things and I used their weekly sketch:

I am entering it in their Sketch Challenge #417

I am also entering this card in the Simon Says Stamp Wednesday Anything Goes Challenge
and
Pixie's Snippets Playground -- I used up all kinds of scraps (snippets) from my scrap basket for this card.

That is it for now....I am headed off to my scrap room and hope to be back later to share more projects with you.

Christmas With Jake and Cole

I actually scrapped these photos on Christmas Day....the same day they were taken! I do not think that has ever happened before. But our family is 1100 miles away and my husband and I were spending a very quiet Christmas Day. My son texted me the photos and voila! I documented the day. Now if I could only get the Christmas photos of the girls from my other son...lol

I played along with the Scrap Our Stash Blend-A-Sketch challenge. This was really a lot of fun.

I used the right hand side sketch for the 4 photo placement and placement of the journaling. I used the left side of the sketch for all the layering behind the photos and the snowflake and hexagon shaped embellishments and also the placement of the title.

Part of the challenge was to use 3 of the same embellishment. I used 3 hearts on the left side of my page.

That is about it for today.  I hope to get back in my creative space later today and work on some more projects. If I do, I will be back to share some more. Thanks for stopping by my blog.

Sympathy Card

I found this Stampin' Up complete stamp set at a thrift store last week for only $1.50. Although it is a bit out of the box for me, I could not pass it up. I brought it home and immediately made this card. It is simple bur I think it would be a good sympathy card which I struggle making.

I am entering this card in the Simon Says Stamp Wednesday Anything Goes Challenge.

That is it for now....I will be back later to share a scrapbook page. Thank you for taking the time to visit my blog.

Thanksgiving 2018

I actually scrapped these pictures twice....one for each of my son's albums. It warms my heart to see them get together and celebrate occasions with all the grandkids present. For this page I used the December 15th Sketch #167 from Sketch-n-Scrap:

I am entering it in their sketch challenge.....you can see all the details HERE
There is still plenty of time to play with this sketch and enter.

Thanks for popping in.

The Most Wonderful Time of the Year

I love to scrap Christmas and winter themed pictures in December and January and my younger son Adam accommodated me with some pictures that I was abler to work with earlier this week. This picture was when he and my grandsons went to their favorite Indiana Christmas tree farm on their annual pilgrimage.

I used this awesome sketch from Rochelle Spears and included snowflake paper to enter her

I also used part of the song title from
and I an entering this page there as well.

Finally, I used snowflakes on my page and am entering this winter themed page in the

Well that is about it....I need to finish getting ready and head out to work.

Happy Birthday Alina

My poor niece Alina...I forget her first week in December birthday nearly every year and ooops, I did it again this year. When I realized it, I got up at 4am the next morning and made this card for her.

My new Happy Birthday die from My Favorite Things that I picked up at my local scrapbook store (I like to support my local small businesses whenever I can) made this card a fast and easy project. I wanted to enter MFT's Have a Wild Birthday Challenge this month and this was the perfect opportunity. The challenge was to add a wild animal to a birthday card....flamingos are wild aren't they??

Thanks for stopping by my blog and checking out my creations.

Fall/Winter Coffee Lovers Blog Hop #5

I am here tonight with my 5th entry for the Fall/Winter Coffee Lovers Blog Hop. I just love these events that Amy Tsuruta and her crew put on twice a year....so much fun, inspiration and prizes!!

I was inspired by this fun sketch from Stick It Down for my cards:

I am also entering this card at Laurel Seabrook's Inspired By Christmas Linens Challenge. I picked papers for my card that reminded me of Christmas tablecloths and napkins.

And don't forget to leave your comments on all my coffee project posts this week as I will be randomly choosing a winner for this little gift of a coffee bean stencil and $10 Dunkin Donut gift card.

Well I better hit the sheets.....it takes me awhile to shut off my brain sometimes and fall asleep so I better get to bed and try to get a full night's sleep...5am comes very early.

Fall/Winter Coffee Lovers Blog Hop #3

This is y 3rd entry for the Fall/Winter Coffee Lovers Blog Hop but being the inclusive group that we are, we are also including hot cocoa and tea. So I decided to make a hot cocoa card this time and like how quick and easy it was. That 3x4 card was in my stash from a Simple Stories winter themed collection and the oval sentiment is from a digital freebie a couple of years ago from
Julee Tilman.

I also used Julee's sketch #503 from Mojo Monday....I am so thrilled that Julee is sharing sketches again. I just LOVE her card sketches. I substituted a rectangle for the large circle and an oval for the smaller circle. Sketches are so versatile....I can always feel free to make it my own.

I am offering a small prize to one of the commenter this week on my coffee themed blog posts. This coffee bean stencil and $10 Dunkin' Donuts gift card is up for grabs. I will choose a winner next Sunday evening December 9th.

Thanks for stopping by my blog. I have had a busy weekend and I think I am going to relax on the couch a bit.
