Visiting Uncle Dave

My husband's brother Aaron and his wife Cheri have 3 of the cutest kids outside of my grandchildren.  They all came down to Florida recently (they are from North Carolina) and while they were in the area I threw Dave a birthday party.  It was so much fun having them celebrate with us.  We had cupcakes and pizza and there were even some balloons.  This is the first of a few pages I will do to commemorate that day.

I am not ususally a double page spread kind of gal but when I saw this 2 page sketch from Let's Scrap I knew these pictures would be perfect.

Here is the left side of the spread....don't you love that photo frame?  I am entering this page in Scrapbook Circle's Framed Challenge.

And here is the right side of the layout:

I used Echo Park's Little Boy collection with some letters form a couple of other EP collections....Country Drive and A Boy's Life.

I am also entering this project over at Simon Says Stamp and Show Kaleidoscope of Color.

  1. Great double pager Sandi! That red really makes the rest pop. Cute pics too. Can't wait to see more birthday layouts ;)

  2. Great pages Sandi! The colors are perfect...

  3. What a wonderful take on the sketch...such a BEAUTIFUL layout full of color!!

THANKS BUNCHES for playing along with this weeks challenge at Simon Says Stamp and Show!
