You So Cheesy

I have been enjoying my huge Bella Blvd stash all week while crafting. Everything on this fun page featuring my adorable granddaughter is from Bella Blvd. I used this perfect sketch #204 from
Sketch-n-Scrap and am entering it their July Challenges.

I stuck to the sketch pretty closely except I eliminated the items in the upper right corner since the background paper was so busy.

Well, that is it for now....today is the deadline to enter this challenge so I need to get busy. Hope everyone has a wonderful weekend and I hope this hurricane stays way off our coast.

Our Grad

I made another page documenting Jacob's high school graduation......this one is for my personal scrapbook which I have been working on quite a bit lately. I used this fun sketch from Rochelle Spears for her July Sketch Challenge which I am entering.

I am also entering this page in Scrap With Stacy's Tic Tac Toe Challenge for July. I went straight down the middle...arrows, journaling and circles.

That is it for now. Time to head to my craft room to make a sympathy card....my least favorite card to create. Thanks for stopping in today. Enjoy the rest of your weekend and stay safe and healthy.

You Rock

I feel so badly for all the teenagers that were looking forward to graduations this year. Both my grandsons were graduating. Jacob was graduating from high school and Cole graduated from 8th grade. Due to the pandemic, there was no big ceremony, no prom, no parties. It basically sucked but I still want to celebrate the achievements of my grandsons. So I created this page for Jacob's album and I will be creating one for Cole's album as well as 2 for my personal scrapbook.

I used this great Page Maps sketch for this page. It was the featured sketch for
I used the third photo spot for my journaling on this challenging year.

That is it for now....I am off to shower and wash my hair and I am hoping for some extended craft time in my happy place today.

Season's Greetings

It is July and this is the month I start creating my Christmas cards. The current challenge at
Paper Smooches is Color Pop.....black, white and a pop of one other color.

I laid in bed one night before falling asleep and thought up this card and I am happy tp report that it turned out pretty closed to how I imagined it. That is not always the case.

About a month ago Kim, the owner of Paper Smooches announced that she is retiring and will no longer be designing new Paper Smooches stamps and dies. I was sad to hear that but happy for Kim personally. I retired a little over a year ago and I am loving retired life.(I just wish this pandemic was over so I could get out and about again.)

There is a big 50% sale going on this month at the Paper Smooches store....you should pop over and get some of these cute stamps before they are gone for good. Here is the link:  http://www.papersmoochesstamps.com

That is it for now. I will be back tomorrow to share a scrapbook page I created this weekend.

You're One in a Melon

I looked through all my Lawn Fawn sets and could not believe that I only had one set with a food image. I am definitely going to have to change that but for the meantime this stamp worked just fine for the Lawnfawnatics Challenge #80 Fun With Food.

I am also entering this card in the Sugar Pea Designs Meant To Be Sent Friendship Challenge.

That's it for now....than you for stopping by my blog. I appreciate each and every kind comment.

Paper Smooches Rainbow Challenge

I made this card this morning to send to a friend who recently did something very nice for me. That rainbow (once I counts all the different colored pieces) was so fun to put together. Paper Smooches has A Rainbows Challenge going right now and today is the last day to enter. I used sentiments from two different stamp sets for this card.

I am also entering this card in the Sugar Pea Meant To Be Sent Challenge
and

There you go....a three for one card. I have not done that in awhile. Thanks for checking out my blog. I will be back later or tomorrow morning with another card to share.

From Our Gnome to Yours

I finally attempted an interactive slider card and found they are a lot of fun to make. I used all Lawn Fawn products for this card except for the cardstock and the sentiment which is computer generated. I am entering this card in the Lawn Fawnatics Interactive Card Challenge.

That's it for now. Thanks for stopping by my blog. Hope you had a good holiday weekend.
