Life Happens, Coffee Helps

Welcome to day 5 of the Spring/Summer Coffee Lovers Bloghop. This is my 6th card for the hop that I am sharing. This is one of my favorite events of the year. Amy Tsuruta and her crew have been hosting these for several years now and they keep getting bigger and better. This time there are over 80 super sponsors and already hundreds of awesome projects linked up. The hop runs all week so you have plenty of time to create a coffee themed project and link it up for your chance to win. The inspiration abounds in the link-ups. I have been looking at some of the incredible projects and am amazed. I have been attempting to use all my coffee themed products in my stash that have not yet been used and for this card I am using some coffee themed papers from Stampin' Up and that sentiment (how true!) was inked up for the first time from a stamp set by Technique Tuesday.

I used this sketch from Sketch-n-Scrap:

I am entering this card in the Simon Says Stamp Wednesday

There are not only great sponsor prizes this week for the blog, but there are many blog and Instagram giveaways as well. I have my own giveaway. I will be drawing one comment from all the comments left this week and the lucky commenter will receive this little prize package and one of the cards that I made this week so make sure to keep track of my cards and next Thursday or Friday come back and comment on one of the posts which one is your favorite.. Included are a set of coffee themed rubber stamps, a set of coffee themed flair and some wooden coffee cups perfect for your coffee loving project. I will draw and post a winner here on my blog Sunday June 2nd so make sure to comment on all my projects this week.

That's it for now....thanks for stopping in and checking on my blog.

My Blood Type is Coffee

Here's my 5th card to share for the Spring/Summer Coffee Lovers Blog Hop. I have been attempting to use all my coffee themed products in my stash that have not yet been used and for this card I am using some coffee themed papers from Stampin' Up and the sentiment from Technique Tuesday just got inked for the first time also.

I fussy cut those sweet coffee cups out of some SU designer paper. I  was inspired by this sketch from Scrapbook and Cards Today.

I am also entering this card in the Monday Simon Says Stamp Masculine Challenge.

Week 21

I am documenting my favorite moments of each week this year instead of the Project Life albums that I had been doing the last 5 years. And I am really loving this way of memory keeping.
This is week #21 and I adapted this sketch from Sketch-n-Scrap:

It was a little challenging adapting this sketch to a 6x8 page but I enjoy challenges and I am rather pleased with the final result.

Well that is it for right now...I hope you had a wonderful holiday weekend...we did.

Good Morning Sunshine

Hello again and welcome to day 4 of the Coffee Lovers Bloghop. I have been attempting to use all my coffee themed products in my stash that have not yet been used and so I pulled out a coffee bean stencil for this card. I received this stencil as a gift recently and had not used it until now.

The sentiment is from Cocoa Daisy and it was inked up for the first time for this card. I used this sketch from Kerry Urbatch that was featured on the Coffee Loving Cardmakers Sunday
Sip and Share feature a couple of weeks ago.

Well that is about it for now....thanks for visiting my blog and do not forget to comment for your chance at my giveaway.

I Want To Be Where The Coffee Is

Welcome to Day 3 of the Coffee Lovers Bloghop!!This hop only happens twice a year now because it has grown into such a HUGE thing....tons of sponsors, and prizes. There will be hundreds, even thousands of projects linked up and the talent is amazing. Many thanks to Amy Tsuruta and her team for the many hours of work and planning to pull this off. I am glad this is a holiday weekend because I am spending a lot of time checking out everyone's projects. I have been hard at work all week on my projects for the hop and I can hardly wait to share them with you. This is one of my favorites that I have made so far. I love mermaids and when I saw this beautiful mermaid tale stamp set, by Ellen Hutson I knew I had to get it. I paired it up with a sentiment that I customized by using three different sets. It is a fun little take on the song from Disney's Little Mermaid. I am entering it in the
Simon Says Stamp Monday Inspired By a Song Challenge

I was inspired by the colors of this Floral Fantasies mood board on the Ellen Hutson CLASSroom blog and I am entering it in their challenge.

I will draw and post a winner here on my blog Sunday June 2nd so make sure to comment on all my projects this week.

That is it for right now...this storm named Alberto is bearing down on all of us here in Florida so with all the rain, it will probably be a good day to work on some more coffee inspired projects and drink coffee of course! Thanks for stopping by.

I Like Big Cups --Coffee Lovers Blog Hop #2

It's one of my favorite events of the year....it is time for the Spring/Summer Coffee Lovers Blog Hop.
This hop only happens twice a year now because it has grown into such a HUGE thing....tons of sponsors, and prizes. There will be hundreds, even thousands of projects linked up and the talent is amazing. Many thanks to Amy Tsuruta and her team for the many hours of work and planning to pull this off. I am glad this is a holiday weekend because I will want to spend a lot of time checking out everyone's projects. I have been hard at work all week on my projects for the hop and I can hardly wait to share them with you. This is one of my favorites that I have made so far....I just love that funny sentiment...c'mon you know you are now singing that song in your head. I know I am. Because this card is inspired by a song (I Like Big Butts...by Sir-Mix-A- Lot) I am entering it in the
Simon Says Stamp Monday Inspired By a Song Challenge

My goal for this hop is to try to use all the stamps and coffee themed products in my stash that I have not yet used. I got this Technique Tuesday stamp set gifted to me at Christmas last year and I had not inked up this sentiment before. Being Memorial Day weekend and the start of summer I decided to go with a fun red/whit/blue nautical theme. I used this fun sketch from Sketch-n-Scrap who are celebrating their 6th birthday the whole month of May:

There are not only great sponsor prizes this week for the blog, but there are many blog and Instagram giveaways as well. I have my own giveaway. I will be drawing one comment from all the comments left this week and the lucky commenter will receive this little prize package and one of the cards that I made this week so make sure to keep track of my cards and next Thursday or Friday come back and comment on one of the posts which one is your favorite.. That is it for now....I will be back this evening to share another coffee themed project. Thanks for popping in.

It's the Coffee Lovers Blog Hop Time Again!!!

It's one of my favorite events of the year....it is time for the
Spring/Summer Coffee Lovers Blog Hop.
This is the first one that I want to share:
.

My goal for this hop is to try to use all the stamps and coffee themed products in my stash that I have not yet used. I got this Newton's Nook stamp set gifted to me at Christmas last year and while I have used the image before, I had not inked up the two sentiments. I am entering it not only in the Coffee Lovers Blog Hop but also in the Inky Paws Challenge at Newton's Nook. It was fun to go looking through my huge stash of buttons for this challenge. I had not used a button on a project in a LONG time.

I used this fun sketch from Kerry Urbatch:
I am entering this card in the Sunday Sip and Share link up also....you can see the details HERE. Every Sunday I look forward to Kerry's sketch and the card she created. She inspires me.

There are not only great sponsor prizes this week for the blog, but there are many blog and Instagram giveaways as well. I have my own giveaway. I will be drawing one comment from all the comments left this week and the lucky commenter will receive this little prize package.

That is it for now....I will be back this evening to share another coffee themed project. Thanks for popping in.

Week 20

I have been playing along with the 52 Week Favorites at Paper Issues and documenting my favorite part of each week. This past weekend, I got up early on Saturday to watch the Royal Wedding and thoroughly enjoyed it. I downloaded some pictures from the internet and used this sketch from
Let's Get Sketchy for my 6x8 page:
It was a bit challenging scaling down the sketch but I enjoyed the challenge and am pleased with the way the page turned out.

Thanks for checking out my blog....I appreciate the kind comments.

Magic Moments

I m still working on my granddaughters' Disney album from our trip nearly a year ago. I found the perfect sketch for this page at Let's Get Sketchy. Here is their May 1st sketch:

They are collaborating this month with Paper Issues with their sketch....how cool is that? Paper Issues is my favorite online group for inspiration and fun chatter. And the Paper Issues shop that Cassie Box runs is THE BEST!!
That is about it for now....it is off to work I go. Happy Monday!

Coffee Makes You Sharper

I love purple but rarely use it in my crafting so I was excited to see the color challenge for Newton's Nook this time included two shades of purple:

I am entering it in their Color Challenge #71 and also in the CAS(E) this Sketch Challenge #271 because I used their sketch this week:

That's it for tonight....thank goodness tomorrow is Friday. I live for my weekends.

Wishing You a Magical Day

I love when a card sketch sticks in my head and get the creative wheels spinning. The sketch that inspired this card did just that. Here is the Sketch-n-Scrap sketch:

I created the background with thin glitter washi tape from Cocoa Daisy. The cute unicorn image and sentiment in from Avery Elle.

I am entering this card in the sketch challenge at the Sketch-n-Scrap blog.
Details can be seen HERE.

Thanks for stopping by my blog. I appreciate your comments.
