Just BEE Cause

I have been re-inspired to work in my craft room lately. I wanted to make a punny card so I pulled out one of my favorite stamp sets that just doesn't get enough love and my favorite 6x6 paper pad from Honey Bee Stamps and had a blast making this card. I used this sketch #199 from Sketch-n-Scrap:

My Favorite Things Camp Create Day 5 Delightful Die Cutting

I really enjoyed playing along with the Camp Create Challenges put on by My Favorite Things. With this card, I completed 3 challenges. I wish I had gotten to all of them but I just fell short of time.

Die Cutting is one of my favorite techniques and I often love to make cards with no stamping or coloring....just using all die cuts. That is what I did on this card:

This card is for the Delightful Die Cutting Challenge on day 5 and so I earned this badge:

Well that is it for now....3 out of 5 challenges isn't too bad. I am proud of myself.

My Favorite Things Camp Create Day 4 Background Bonanza

I have been working on the challenges from My Favorite Things Cam Create. The above badge is my participation badge. This evening I worked on this card for the Background Bonanza Challenge:

Newton's Nook Inky Paws Challenge #154 Use Stripes

Another thank you card.....this one is for the Newton's Nook Inky Paws Challenge to Use Stripes. The shark themed stamp set I used is one of my favorites of all time.

My Favorite Things Camp Create Day 3 Emboss Resist

I cannot believe that the youngest of my grandchildren, Izzy is turning 10 next week. She does not like crabs at all and is afraid of going to the beach when she comes to Florida to visit us because of the tiny ghost crabs that run around on the sand. To tease her a bit, I made this card for her with a vintage Stampin' Up crab stamp. (Isn't he adorable?) I am entering this in the My Favorite Things Camp Create Emboss Resist Challenge for Day 3. I embossed the waves with white embossing powder then I ink blended the blue water. The white waves resisted the blue ink. Here is the badge I earned for this challenge:
