It's the Little Things....

I am working on an album for my brother-in-law and sister-in-law of their 4 children this year.  The focus is Christmas through the years and times with grandparents and great-grandparents.  This page features their youngest, Rosie and her grandpa from Florida.  I used a bunch of older Echo Park papers from my stash and this awesome sketch from Grand Diva's Scrappy Place Blog:

Party Like There's No tomorrow

I love this new stamp set from Sugar Pea Designs so I decided to use it again this month but this time for a birthday card for my granddaughter Abby who is turning 8 years old next weekend.  I just used scraps from my scrap basket and this awesome sketch from  Sugar Pea Designs

Life is Better With Friends

A dear online friend of mine just had surgery and I wanted to cheer her up.  She knows how I love flamingos so I decided to make her a flamingo card.  I used this awesome sketch from Viva La Verve:

Winter Fun

My son and grandson's love winter sports and  a couple of months ago they tried ice skating.  Let's just say they said that they need a bit more practice!!  I am so glad that I got a chance this busy month to create this page with Diana Fisher's sketch for Scrapbook Circle.  Here is her sketch:

Being Your Friend.....

I love coffee and I love coffee themed cards and stamps.  I am in a monthly exchange of coffee themed cards with a bunch of other coffee loving papercrafters.  This card is on it's way tomorrow to Cape Girardeau, MO

My weekend is over and I am so sad.  It is back to work tomorrow.  All I really want to do is stay home, drink coffee and make pretty stuff.

The Snuggle is Real

I just love this picture of my granddaughters taking a nap with their new pup, Hazel.  The family got her last summer as a rescue and she has fit in very well with them.  She is a Basenji and you have to love those ears of hers. They are naturally like that because Basenjis are one of the few dogs that use their ears to hunt.

It is a busy Sunday here with both the Daytona 500 on and the Winter Classic hockey game from Minnesota with the Chicago Blackhawks. Thank goodness for 2 TVs.

17 Years

Have you ever had a layout that you wanted to do for a long time and everything had not come together yet?  Well I wanted to document my job and how long I have worked it and finally I had the right picture of me at work, the right papers and the right sketch.  I used October Afternoon's 9-5 collection.  It is an older collection that I found in the bottom of my OA drawer and nearly forgot about.  It worked perfectly for me.  This month's sketch at The Scraproom Blog was also just right for this page:
