I love using sketches as a jumping off point for my layouts. Sometimes I follow them closely and sometimes I don't. This is a case where I didn't follow too closely to this sketch:
I started off with the large die cut chevron green paper, I substituted one horizontal picture for the two vertical photos and since it was a layout of my grandsons I eliminated the layered border punches and just used my notebook punch along one side.
