Silly Selfie

I had some wonderful days with my son, DIL and their girls in July.  Of course the time went much too fast.  Five days per year is just NOT enough to spend together.  But when we are together we try to pack a lot of fun into a few days.  Izzy, my youngest grandchild is at a rather ornery stage.....she was nearly three when we visited.  She decided she was NOT going to let Grandma take her picture.  She was saying "Nnnnnno!" when I snapped this silly selfie of us. Luckily I did get some cute candids of her at the park one day so at least I have a couple of pictures of her at this stage.

For this page I used this American Crafts papers (Crate Paper and Dear Lizzy) and this awesome sketch from Sketchabilities:

I used my Scribble die from Pink Fresh Studios and the little bow in the upper left corner is a die from Dear Lizzie.  That being said I am linking this page up to current Paper Issues theme -- Tell Me Dies

Thanks for stopping by my blog today....hope your weekend is as delightful as mine has been so far.

  1. Super fun layout! Great picture (I love how "real" it is - I get plenty of pictures when my kids are not in the mood.) That papers and layered elements really add to the fun! Thanks so much for sharing! Good luck with the challenge!

  2. Love this page! Just fantastic. Love the background and the way you placed the picture with the embellishments!!

  3. Love the photo and your background is amazing. Thanks for playing along with Sketchabilities.
