There are 7 of us participating in the hop; we are a all online
scrapbooking friends from the Yahoo group Scrappin N Chattin. SnC is an email forum where we share our love for this hobby, as well
as everyday life. Don't be intimidated by the amount of emails that come through
our message boards - there are a lot of fun activities, challenges, and prizes -
to jumpstart your creativity and keep your scrappin' goals.
I am overseeing the fun 52 week challenge this year. We had 15 ladies sign up in December and pay $15 apiece. Beginning the first week in January we started creating one layout per week and uploading it to the special folder I create each week. Each page must contain at least one photo, a title, an embellishment and some kind of journaling (which can be as simple as just a name and date). The layouts can be entered in other contests and can be any subject or topic you desire. The whole idea is just to create on at least a weekly basis. There are five passes available for use through the year because we all know that life happens at times. If you use a pass you must create 2 pages the next week. This year I am offering a special prize to all ladies that go all year without using a pass. At the end of the 52 weeks there will be a drawing for the winner who will then win the $225 to spend on scrapping goodies. Sweet, huh? To date there are still 10 of us in the running and 4 of us have not used any passes yer. It is great fun and awesome motivation. I would love to have you join us next year.
Fun right? You can visit our homepage HERE and join in if you'd like. We love meeting new people! We
also love blog hopping and sharing inspiration we find around the web! For
today's hop, we each created a "furry" project. I created a page about our loveable but not too bright basset hound, Prudence that we had when my boys were young. Prudence never took well to being housebroken and after about 6 months when we were moving to a new home, Prudence got a new home too....out on the farm of some friends' parents. I found this picture recently of her that I took in 1985 and wanted to do a page for each of my sons' childhood scrapbooks.
I am entering this layout in Frosted Designs Fabulous Friday challenge to use stitching. I used faux stitching.

I love the sketches over at Creative Scrappers and used their sketch #211 by Nicole Nowosad for my layout:
And of course, it wouldn't be a blog hop without CANDY! ;)
If you become a follower and leave me a comment (or just leave me a comment if you are already a follower) you will get a chance at winning this Basic Grey Oliver Collection:
I will choose and announce a winner on Friday June 15th so make sure to check back with me to see if you have won.
