Boatload of Christmas Blessings

I am a big fan of Jenn Shurkus.  Her creativity really inspires me.  She was celebrating her 10th blogiversary during the month of July and had the coolest challenge going on that I just had to take part in.  She wanted us to pick one of her recent cards to CASE and post it on her blog.  There are loads of fun and fabulous prizes but I am most excited by scraplifting a couple of her cards.

I live in Florida and I love nautical themes and elements year round and have even before nautical/beachy was trendy.  So when I saw this card of hers I knew I was going to recreate it.

I love the image being on the large die cut banner and the hemp cord.  I decided to create a
Christmas card since I am still in the Christmas in July mode and have all my Christmas supplies out in my creative space.  I use a never before inked image and sentiment from a Newton's Nook stamp set (Sea-sons Greetings).

I wish I could have recreated that watercolored cloud filled sky on Jenn's card but I had to cheat and us Bella Blvd cloud print paper.  If you want to CAS one of Jenn's cards and enter, there is still time.  you can see all the details by going to her BLOG

I am also entering this card in Merry Monday's #167 Hearts challenge

and
Simon Says Stamps Wednesday Anything Goes Challenge

Thank you for stopping by to check out my card and happy Sunday to you!
