I am still catching up on my 2013 pages but having a blast doing it. It is like reliving the weeks. This week (Thanksgiving week 2913) was especially fun as Dave and are were off for the week and enjoyed a "Staycation". Here are close-ups of each page:
For the above page on my title card I recycled a handmaded card that was sent to me by Torico from Japan....I received it in a swap I think and it was so beautiful I wanted to keep it forever. And what better way to do that but to incorporate it in one of my pages. I often do that with handmade cards that are sent to me.
We hosted Thanksgiving last year with my in-laws and the above page documents the food prep and the meal.
Just for fun, I want to have a little giveaway with some fun Christmas supplies. If you are like me you are knee deep in Christmas project preparations. Cards, gift tags, a couple of wreaths and gift bags are all on my to-do list. These goodies can help you out with that. Just comment on this post and tell me your favorite Christmas memory. I will pick a winner on November 20th.
Thanks for stopping by.

What a great giveaway. I love looking at your PL pages. They are always so well coordinated with colors and I like reading about the fun day you and Dave have.
ReplyDeleteOf course my favorite memories are from when my son was small. We would often travel to see my family in Georgia and he would wake up with his cousins and discover what Santa had brought! Playing Santa with my sister is an irreplacable memory. I am glad we go to do it several times! Now our children are teens and it is lacks some of that magic. It can make you even more thankful for those precious memories! Which I of course have documented in SCRAPBOOKS!! Thanks for the opportunity!
ReplyDeleteLove your PL pages!! My favorite Christmas memory is the year the boys wanted a Nintendo and nothing else! We opened all our gifts and though they were happy with what they had we could tell they were disappointed that there was no Nintendo under the tree. About an hour after opening presents I asked them to go down and get the clothes out of the dryer and bring them up for me. I think when they opened the dryer and saw their Nintendo hidden there you could have heard them scream on the other side of town!! Of course we had to drop everything and hook it up right away and spent most of the day playing games.
ReplyDeleteI love how you used the card on your layout! What a perfect way to preserve a wonderful memory! I love seeing all the journaling and I feel the same way about scrapping older days - it is fun reminiscing!
ReplyDeleteMy favorite Christmas memory was probably holding my niece for the first time. She was just days old and my son didn't know why I was holding this other little one so tenderly. I was so glad that she and her family were brave enough to venture out on Christmas so that we could meet her!
I LOVE your PL pages, Sandi! They are always such an inspiration. My favorite Christmas memory was probably the first year Adrian, Kennedy, Joseph, and I spent together as a family. We spent time in Arkansas and Oklahoma and drove through snow and icy roads to get to Oklahoma. It was a great year, though, because we were all together!
ReplyDeleteAwesome PL pages!
ReplyDeleteFavorite Christmas memory... getting to stay up and go midnight mass with my family while we were visiting my grandparents in Santa Barbara. When we got back to the house after church, we discovered Santa had already come and left gifts under the tree!
